Sumba rewards photographers with dramatic coastlines, rolling savannas, traditional villages and some of Indonesia’s most distinctive landscapes. From dancing mangrove trees to wild horses and golden hills, every day offers a completely different visual story.

What to Expect

This is a photography-focused small-group journey. We will travel to several locations each day, often around sunrise and sunset. Michael will provide practical guidance on camera settings, composition, filters and visual storytelling, while participants will also have time to work independently.
